T-CHEST Train-the-Trainer Program Scholarship Application

The Kentucky Hospital Association (KHA) is offering a brand-new scholarship for 30 leaders from our member hospitals who work in the fields of Environmental Services, Infection Prevention, or Quality to attend the T-CHEST (Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician) Train-the Trainer Program in Louisville, KY this summer. This course is being offered in collaboration with the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE), a Professional Membership Group of the American Hospital Association.

Leaders who successfully complete this 3-day course will also be awarded complimentary toolkits that they may use to provide training and the CHEST certification examination to three individuals within the environmental services team at their hospital in order to share the knowledge they have gained through the T-CHEST training program.

To be considered for this scholarship, each participant must submit the application, linked below, and commit to attending the full on-site three-day training in Louisville June 25-27, 2025, and also to certify three EVS staff members with the CHEST certification within one year of T-CHEST course date.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, May 23, 2025.  Scholarship awardees will be notified the week of May 26, 2025 via e-mail. We appreciate your interest in this scholarship, and your commitment to quality excellence!
